When I get to spend milestones with families like first moments at home, first birthday cakes… I feel such a special connection to them. I’ve spent lots of time with this fun family and got to hang out again recently because only child got promoted to “big sis” as they welcomed their newest addition! This family was the SWEETEST!!! I love working with first time parents as they anticipate and then welcome the arrival of a new baby to their lives. I got to meet them at their maternity session {they were referred to me by one of my most loyal and fun families!} and we had a lot of fun exploring the park and talking about life before baby. Then they welcomed me to their home shortly after baby arrived and I was able to document some of their earliest moments as new parents. I have the BEST job. And kind, sweet, laid back parents such as these (oh and a super cute little man!) make it that much more enjoyable!!!

I love when I get to watch families grow from two to three to four… and sometimes beyond! I met this cute couple at their first maternity session a few years back and now they are navigating the love and chaos of parenting two little ones! I was excited to meet their newest {gorgeous} addition, baby Nora, and had fun hanging out with them, reading with big brother Warren, laughing and “coaching” them through wrapping (although momma didn’t really need the help!) When Charlotte Elisabeth made her debut, little did she know how much she would be loved! These first time parents were not only head over heels for their newest addition, they were calm and relaxed even in the midst of a pandemic homecoming. I enjoyed chatting and getting to know them while capturing some of their earliest moments at home. I hope this sweet family of three ~ well, four counting pup ~ continues to grow in love and I hope to see them again!

I just can’t get enough of this family. They are the sweetest people and I always leave their GORGEOUS home feeling like I stepped out of a magazine ad for Architectural Digest or Magnolia Journal! The light is perfect, the decor is stunning while still minimalist and the little ones are absolutely adorable! Their newest addition was almost three months and I love that we wait to do their sessions when their newbies are a little older… they are alert while still cuddly and already developing such a personality! After a few months hiatus of blogging and Instagramming {but not shooting!} we are finally making time to share some of our favorite sessions from the last crazy few months. The 2020-21 pandemic has created a lot of chaos, but we are still working with families and capturing memories in safe ways!

Baby Quinn’s momma did the “Bump to Baby” session and after doing their maternity session last fall, baby Quinn made her debut towards the end of 2020. We got lucky with nice weather and did the majority of their session outside, capturing the early moments of their now family of four. When the baby sleeps – and sleeps and sleeps – the newborn lifestyle session ends up including a variety of sleepy baby and basket shots as well! Baby Bennett was dreamy & stayed in a blissful slumber for her entire session. Her family is the absolute sweetest and like us, both mom & dad are teachers, so we always have lots to chat about! I enjoyed spending the afternoon with them, smelling the gorgeous fresh cut flowers, seeing all the amazing handmade (with love) personal items and cuddling their tiny new one. Welcome to the world Bennett… your big sister & amazing parents were waiting for you!

Notice anything pink?! I was so excited to work with this family again and welcome their newest… a healthy, beautiful baby GIRL! Big brother is pretty fond of her already and we had a lot of laughs trying to capture that perfect “moment” with two young siblings (one of which does not like to sit still!).
