When I get to spend milestones with families like first moments at home, first birthday cakes… I feel such a special connection to them. I’ve spent lots of time with this fun family and got to hang out again recently because only child got promoted to “big sis” as they welcomed their newest addition! These AMAZING clients have been coming to me since 2013, back when I was just getting started and still had SO much to learn about shooting, lighting, editing and more. I thank them for trusting me with their littles, for staying with me through price increases, for always being so easy to work with {although they are so much fun to hang out with that it never feels like “work!”} Clients like these are keepers!

I had to include a couple of Nat’s “bloopers” on the family lifestyle photo portion… she was supposed to be smiling, but was giving us a little of her pre-teen sass and it is worth documenting. 🙂 Kids grow up so fast! Someday I’ll be taking their senior photos! But let’s not rush it…

I love when I get to watch families grow from two to three to four… and sometimes beyond! I met this cute couple at their first maternity session a few years back and now they are navigating the love and chaos of parenting two little ones! I was excited to meet their newest {gorgeous} addition, baby Nora, and had fun hanging out with them, reading with big brother Warren, laughing and “coaching” them through wrapping (although momma didn’t really need the help!) When Charlotte Elisabeth made her debut, little did she know how much she would be loved! These first time parents were not only head over heels for their newest addition, they were calm and relaxed even in the midst of a pandemic homecoming. I enjoyed chatting and getting to know them while capturing some of their earliest moments at home. I hope this sweet family of three ~ well, four counting pup ~ continues to grow in love and I hope to see them again!

We met last fall for her most recent maternity session and I got to meet baby Luke and hang with big sis Quinny earlier this year. I’ve watched this cute family grow from two to three… and now onto {almost} four! Although I usually prefer sunset light, we made morning light work and I still love how their session turned out. Little Warren, soon to be a big brother, entertained us all and we chased him all over the park. Lots of laughter and a fun morning… looking forward to meeting their newest addition in just a few weeks!

I just can’t get enough of this family. They are the sweetest people and I always leave their GORGEOUS home feeling like I stepped out of a magazine ad for Architectural Digest or Magnolia Journal! The light is perfect, the decor is stunning while still minimalist and the little ones are absolutely adorable! Their newest addition was almost three months and I love that we wait to do their sessions when their newbies are a little older… they are alert while still cuddly and already developing such a personality! When the baby sleeps – and sleeps and sleeps – the newborn lifestyle session ends up including a variety of sleepy baby and basket shots as well! Baby Bennett was dreamy & stayed in a blissful slumber for her entire session. Her family is the absolute sweetest and like us, both mom & dad are teachers, so we always have lots to chat about! I enjoyed spending the afternoon with them, smelling the gorgeous fresh cut flowers, seeing all the amazing handmade (with love) personal items and cuddling their tiny new one. Welcome to the world Bennett… your big sister & amazing parents were waiting for you!

Notice anything pink?! I was so excited to work with this family again and welcome their newest… a healthy, beautiful baby GIRL! Big brother is pretty fond of her already and we had a lot of laughs trying to capture that perfect “moment” with two young siblings (one of which does not like to sit still!).
