First Birthday & Cake Smash Photography | Dublin, Ohio
I was excited when this family contacted us again as I really enjoyed working with them last fall during their sunset session. This time they wanted to document their youngest boy’s first birthday and decided upon the Sweet & Simple Cake Smash session. We played a bit, got in some family photos and then let the little guy dig into his smash cake! Although he wasn’t overly interested in eating cake, he did enjoy playing with it and his big sisters were happy to be the clean up crew! Hoping to see them time and time again. This momma and I have grown close over the last few years through running, fitness and more and I love photographing their family! We met at one of my favorite parks and had a fun morning filled with smiles & laughter. Their session included extended family so the gallery was pretty big and hard to narrow down, but here are some favorites!
It is a special thing when a childhood friend contacts you and trusts you to help capture memories of their family. This momma (and dad!) and I go way back and I have been honored to work with her kiddos and reconnect with her over the last year! Sunset Lifestyle Family + Maternity Session | Dublin, Ohio
Party of three is about to become party of four! Well five, if you count their loyal family dog, Stella! Absolutely love working with our families over the years and watching them grow. Can’t wait to meet the little one in momma’s belly in just a few months!

I have so much fun & good conversation with this stunning family (seriously, look at them)! They had a perfect fall sunset for their maternity session & I was so excited to go to their beautiful home and capture some memories with their newest addition. Big sis “B” was super excited and the best little helper. Here are a few favorites from our afternoon…
This session only lasted about 10 minutes. Not pictured are the in-between melt downs our youngest had every few minutes and my oldest asking when we’d be done so he could change out of his jeans. We rolled with it, did a lot of tickling and got them to cooperate just long enough to take advantage of the beautiful golden light. When you have kids between the ages of 0-5, you never know how a session will go!
These pictures literally make me tear up. For so many reasons. I’m thankful to have a sister who loves us enough to take our photos several times per year. She’s so good at getting the kids to laugh & she captures the little moments that I want to document forever. I’m blessed to have children who fill my heart with joy. I often wish I could freeze time and keep them little, but I know there are exciting memories to be made as they grow up. And even after several years of marriage, figuring out how to parent two little ones, juggling multiple jobs & schedules, surviving on very little sleep… the stress of life has only made me love my husband more. He sometimes makes me crazy, but he always makes me laugh. 🙂
As we move into the holiday season, we want all of our clients – many of whom have become friends – to know how thankful we are to have this business and be able to capture moments like this for you. Laughing as a family. And maybe sometimes crying. We hope you have a wonderful holiday, a Merry Christmas and in case we don’t see you, a Happy New Year!

This lovely family came to us from Texas, first doing little man’s one year cake smash session back in April. We were happy to see them again for a fall family lifestyle session! They were all over the idea of just playing and laughing. Smiles, looking for frogs & ducks, walks in the woods, throwing rocks, playing with sticks, running through mud & leaves… all the things that little boys are made of. 🙂 The sunset was perfectly golden and we had a wonderful session together!
Another fun family, another golden hour session. We’ve considered ONLY shooting at sunset… however, we know its sometimes hard to keep the little ones up that late. But it is oh-so-worth it! We had a blast hiking, twirling, playing freeze tag & laughing as the sun set on this gorgeous fall evening. Wish this weather would last forever!
Roman Family | Sunset Family Session | Dublin, Ohio
Working with families at “the golden hour” is one of our favorite things… especially when the fall weather is warm and the families & kids are happy! Last year, the Romans did a morning session and had unseasonably cold weather – the littles weren’t loving it! So this year, when the temperatures were nice and the sunlight was perfectly golden, we had a much better time hanging out, throwing leaves and laughing the night away. 🙂 Here is a peek at their “glowing” session!

We have been working with “miss Natalie” and her family since LBP started. We love seeing them each year, smiling and laughing our session away. Little Alex is a bit harder to chase around, but we do our best to capture his natural energy and big personality! Love how this session turned out and can’t wait to see them for years to come!
