These AMAZING clients have been coming to me since 2013, back when I was just getting started and still had SO much to learn about shooting, lighting, editing and more. I thank them for trusting me with their littles, for staying with me through price increases, for always being so easy to work with {although they are so much fun to hang out with that it never feels like “work!”} Clients like these are keepers!

I had to include a couple of Nat’s “bloopers” on the family lifestyle photo portion… she was supposed to be smiling, but was giving us a little of her pre-teen sass and it is worth documenting. 🙂 Kids grow up so fast! Someday I’ll be taking their senior photos! But let’s not rush it…

Maternity + One Year Cake Smash photography session | Hilliard, Ohio

I’ve worked with this family for a couple of years now and they recently welcomed a newborn! While we wait for them to pick their “favorite” images from that session {they are still cuddling and snuggling and enjoying all the new changes!} we figured now was a good time to share their fall maternity/family + one year cake smash. These guys makes me laugh every time we get together and are such a fun, happy little family of now four!

I’ve watched this cute family grow from two to three… and now onto {almost} four! Although I usually prefer sunset light, we made morning light work and I still love how their session turned out. Little Warren, soon to be a big brother, entertained us all and we chased him all over the park. Lots of laughter and a fun morning… looking forward to meeting their newest addition in just a few weeks!

The Carrolls have been working with me since they were a family of two several years ago and soon, they’ll be a family of five! Although I love the golden sunset, sometimes littles do best in the AM so we met early and spent a Saturday morning laughing, collecting rocks and exploring the park. It was a fun morning and I’m thankful they let me tag along, soaking in these last few months before their newest bundle arrives!

Lifestyle newborn session | Upper Arlington, Ohio

Oh em gee! This is the type of session dreams are made of. Baby Grace came to me through a mutual friend and I was ecstatic to work with this sweet family! They were warm & welcoming, the house was a gorgeous backdrop with neutral colors and dreamy natural light, baby Grace was the perfect balance of sleepy & awake (my favorite for lifestyle sessions) while big brother, although a tad camera shy, gave me some perfect smiles & expressions. And did I mention how cute they are?! Momma and I had fun hanging out and chatting about all things baby, decorating and our love for Cuddle+Kind dolls. Grace was a few weeks old and was awake for a while, but fell asleep at the perfect moment and we were able to end with a wrapped shot. I’m excited to see them again for some milestone sessions and hope we can get outside for some family photos as this crazy Ohio winter turns to spring!

Being Christmas Eve Eve, this will likely be our last post for a few days, so we wanted to close out the holiday season with one of our cutest little clients! Baby Will couldn’t be any more adorable and his sitter session was full of smiles, some ‘classic’ shots and of course, some holiday cheer. We know his family will enjoy celebrating Will’s first Christmas this year and sharing all his smiles with loved ones. Merry Christmas to the Kaspers and to all our amazing clients!!

We’ve photographed this fun-loving family for years – since their oldest was just an itty bitty. I always enjoy seeing them and capturing their playful personalities! We got some traditional portraits, but my favorites will always be the candids. The moment when momma’s little girl cuddles into her a little closer. When dad carries the boys around on his back. When the oldest needs a moment to cheer up before the “click.” We had a blast giggling, playing, jumping, “squishing” each other in cuddles and soaking in the golden sunlight. Golden sunset session on the farm | Powell, Ohio

I’m not sure what I loved most about this amazing session because so many things made my heart happy! The fact that the momma and I have been close friends for almost 30 years & playing with her littles gives me joy. The gorgeous farm setting full of lots of candid opportunities for the kids to play and spark genuine smiles. Or the golden sun that surprised us at the end of a cloudy day. I’m always honored when friends trust me with their family photos because hanging out at the session feels like just that… hanging out!
