I got to work with this lovely family with baby number one… and here we are a couple years later with baby number two! This time they have added a beautiful girl to the mix and the nursery has been repurposed with soft feminine touches just perfect for this little lady. Here are some favorites from our session!
Oh em gee! This is the type of session dreams are made of. Baby Grace came to me through a mutual friend and I was ecstatic to work with this sweet family! They were warm & welcoming, the house was a gorgeous backdrop with neutral colors and dreamy natural light, baby Grace was the perfect balance of sleepy & awake (my favorite for lifestyle sessions) while big brother, although a tad camera shy, gave me some perfect smiles & expressions. And did I mention how cute they are?! Momma and I had fun hanging out and chatting about all things baby, decorating and our love for Cuddle+Kind dolls. Grace was a few weeks old and was awake for a while, but fell asleep at the perfect moment and we were able to end with a wrapped shot. I’m excited to see them again for some milestone sessions and hope we can get outside for some family photos as this crazy Ohio winter turns to spring!
Being Christmas Eve Eve, this will likely be our last post for a few days, so we wanted to close out the holiday season with one of our cutest little clients! Baby Will couldn’t be any more adorable and his sitter session was full of smiles, some ‘classic’ shots and of course, some holiday cheer. We know his family will enjoy celebrating Will’s first Christmas this year and sharing all his smiles with loved ones. Merry Christmas to the Kaspers and to all our amazing clients!!
We’ve photographed this fun-loving family for years – since their oldest was just an itty bitty. I always enjoy seeing them and capturing their playful personalities! We got some traditional portraits, but my favorites will always be the candids. The moment when momma’s little girl cuddles into her a little closer. When dad carries the boys around on his back. When the oldest needs a moment to cheer up before the “click.” We had a blast giggling, playing, jumping, “squishing” each other in cuddles and soaking in the golden sunlight. Here are a few favorites from our sunset session…
I’m not sure what I loved most about this amazing session because so many things made my heart happy! The fact that the momma and I have been close friends for almost 30 years & playing with her littles gives me joy. The gorgeous farm setting full of lots of candid opportunities for the kids to play and spark genuine smiles. Or the golden sun that surprised us at the end of a cloudy day. I’m always honored when friends trust me with their family photos because hanging out at the session feels like just that… hanging out! Here are some favorites from our perfectly golden, perfectly joyful sunset session.
First Birthday & Cake Smash Photography | Dublin, Ohio
I was excited when this family contacted us again as I really enjoyed working with them last fall during their sunset session. This time they wanted to document their youngest boy’s first birthday and decided upon the Sweet & Simple Cake Smash session. We played a bit, got in some family photos and then let the little guy dig into his smash cake! Although he wasn’t overly interested in eating cake, he did enjoy playing with it and his big sisters were happy to be the clean up crew! Hoping to see them time and time again. Here are some favorites from their birthday session…
This momma and I have grown close over the last few years through running, fitness and more and I love photographing their family! We met at one of my favorite parks and had a fun morning filled with smiles & laughter. Their session included extended family so the gallery was pretty big and hard to narrow down, but here are some favorites!
It is a special thing when a childhood friend contacts you and trusts you to help capture memories of their family. This momma (and dad!) and I go way back and I have been honored to work with her kiddos and reconnect with her over the last year! They are a gorgeous family full of love and laughs, so the sessions are easy and enjoyable. Here are some favorites from our latest evening together…
Here is a combination post of this lovely family, before and after their tiniest new edition!
Sunset Lifestyle Family + Maternity Session | Dublin, Ohio
Party of three is about to become party of four! Well five, if you count their loyal family dog, Stella! Absolutely love working with our families over the years and watching them grow. Can’t wait to meet the little one in momma’s belly in just a few months!
In-home lifestyle newborn session | Dublin, Ohio
I have so much fun & good conversation with this stunning family (seriously, look at them)! They had a perfect fall sunset for their maternity session & I was so excited to go to their beautiful home and capture some memories with their newest addition. Big sis “B” was super excited and the best little helper. Here are a few favorites from our afternoon…
This session only lasted about 10 minutes. Not pictured are the in-between melt downs our youngest had every few minutes and my oldest asking when we’d be done so he could change out of his jeans. We rolled with it, did a lot of tickling and got them to cooperate just long enough to take advantage of the beautiful golden light. When you have kids between the ages of 0-5, you never know how a session will go!
These pictures literally make me tear up. For so many reasons. I’m thankful to have a sister who loves us enough to take our photos several times per year. She’s so good at getting the kids to laugh & she captures the little moments that I want to document forever. I’m blessed to have children who fill my heart with joy. I often wish I could freeze time and keep them little, but I know there are exciting memories to be made as they grow up. And even after several years of marriage, figuring out how to parent two little ones, juggling multiple jobs & schedules, surviving on very little sleep… the stress of life has only made me love my husband more. He sometimes makes me crazy, but he always makes me laugh. 🙂
As we move into the holiday season, we want all of our clients – many of whom have become friends – to know how thankful we are to have this business and be able to capture moments like this for you. Laughing as a family. And maybe sometimes crying. We hope you have a wonderful holiday, a Merry Christmas and in case we don’t see you, a Happy New Year!
