Spending time with the Stacks and celebrating their newest miracle was such a blessing! I had a wonderful time playing with the littles, chatting with the extended family and talking about all things parenthood, Disney and distance running. I met this dear family when Ava was just a few days old…. now she’s a big sister and hanging out with them on a Saturday morning felt like spending time with old friends. Thankful I got to capture some early precious moments with their newest baby girl ~ snuggles with mom, books with big sis and even dad changing one of the likely few diapers. 🙂 Here are some favorites from their session!
Although we got together just after Christmas (hence their adorable cream colored stockings!) I am finally getting around to sharing this cute little family’s session. Baby Ellie started out wide awake and after some coaxing, was finally fast asleep. We got some pictures of her alone for her stylized portion, then moved onto the cuddly family shots in their lifestyle portion. It is such a joy & honor to document a new family interacting with each other, often in their first home… snuggling their first baby. Their hearts from this day on, will continue to grow and expand with love and life will never be the same. <3
Words cannot express how happy I am for this adorable growing family! Leah and I have been friends for as long as I can remember and we were lucky enough to photograph her & Jason’s wedding one gorgeous fall evening a few years ago. I held my breath and hoped & prayed a little one would come along soon…. and I got my wish! Well, their wish, but mine too! 🙂
Leah & Jason’s maternity session was this past fall and I saved some favorites to blog when their little girl arrived. More recently, I got to spend the morning with them… while snuggling baby Quinn! They are going to be amazing parents and I can’t wait to watch them continue to grow in love!
Although I’ve only met this momma a few times, I felt like family in their cozy home, cuddling their newest family member on a brisk winter morning. The nursery was grey & green with a cactus theme and adorable personal touches. The entire family, GoldenDoodle including, was game for a lifestyle portion prior to baby Leo’s sleepy, stylized session. Leo slept and slept until the last few minutes, making for a perfect way to end his session as we caught a peek of his little eyes. I hope they are in love with their gallery as much as they are in love with their new little guy! Here are some favorites…
We were lucky enough to do two sessions with this little guy and his fun family! First they came to our (temporary) in-home space to get some sleepy, cozy baby shots. Along with some cuddles & a few cat naps, we captured this perfectly handsome baby boy in all his cuteness. Then a couple weeks later, we met up again, this time in their home, and got to see the gorgeous nursery, some festive Christmas decorations and the rest of the sibling crew! Oh my heart. Seriously. Baby Hagan was a dream – so sleepy and cuddly, such perfect skin and tiny features, so much gorgeous hair. And his parents? Unicorn parents. Perfectly calm, perfectly put together & perfectly… well, beautiful.
Momma and I have been friends since before either of us had babies and it was so surreal to see her with her own little one. I had a fabulous morning hanging out with them, catching up and snuggling baby Hagan. Oh… and we took some pictures! Working with clients-turned-friends & getting my baby fix are just some of the many perks of this photography gig! I am blessed to visit client homes, chat with mommas about all-things-baby, cuddle their newborn addition and feel like I’m genuinely part of their family, even if just for a bit. The Carroll crew welcomed me with open arms and Mom, Dad & big sister Ellie all took turns loving on baby Luke during their session. Party of three is about to become party of four! Well five, if you count their loyal family dog, Stella! Absolutely love working with our families over the years and watching them grow. Can’t wait to meet the little one in momma’s belly in just a few months!

This lovely family was referred to us by one of our favorite client families… lucky us! Seriously, everything about them is a dream! They are so sweet & kind, have a beautiful well-lit home for lifestyle sessions… and now they have the perfect addition to stare at all day long. 🙂 I first got to meet them at their maternity mini session and had so much fun. They felt like family from the beginning and I was so excited waiting for momma’s belly to become a newbie! I then got to come back and meet their little one, baby Lucas, after he was only a few days old. They are some of the most loving parents I’ve ever worked with. Genuinely overflowing with love. I hope they are getting lots of cuddles and I certainly hope I get to see this little guy again! Here are some favorites from both of our sessions.
