First Birthday ‘Ultimate’ Cake Smash Session | Dublin, Ohio

Little Claire came to our home studio in Dublin shortly before her first birthday.  Mom chose the LBP Ultimate First Birthday Cake Smash session, which comes with custom decor and upgraded cake, as well as either indoor & outdoor shots or studio set changes.  She did a winter/holiday scene and then got ready for her big cake smash.

We were excited that mom chose some of our favorite colors for the cake portion… blush, gold and cream.  She also wanted to incorporate a wintery wonderland & snowflake theme.  We love Etsy and ordered a variety of decorative items from vendors including PartyPoms, ModParty & 1PomPomGirl.  We made the cake topper, mostly because the Etsy one didn’t arrive in time… although we love to get crafty, we often like the excuse to do some online shopping! The gorgeous pink ruffle cake was made by one of our favorite local bakeries, Our CupCakery.

Claire was a pleasure to work with!  She gave us plenty of smiles and although she wasn’t too interested in eating the cake, she sat still long enough to play with it and let us capture some messy memories. 🙂  Here is a peek at her session…
