Since our little guy, JP, is too young to really have any favorites… we went with daddy’s favorite theme of all things scarlet & grey.  After LBP worked the Made Local Marketplace Holiday show, the OHIO-MADE theme was decided… there was so much cute scarlet & grey stuff there!  And we loved the idea of supporting local businesses.

Thanks to all our friends and family that made this big day possible.  Thanks to all the local vendors that supplied amazingly cute & unique props, apparel and food.  And thank you to our little guy, JP.  This year has been the best one of our lives.  We love you to the moon and back!

This was the inspirational basket, the items purchased at the MadeLocal show,

The cupcakes were made by NicelyMade Cupcakes.  We ordered Vanilla Bean [with raspberry filling] and Buckeye.  They were not only ADORABLE, but so, so yummy!  The little fondant Ohio on JPs jumbo cupcake was the cutest thing E.V.E.R.

The kids’ favors were delicious Buckeye flavored hand-dipped pretzels by Mel’s ‘Zels.  So so yummy!  We also got some non-peanut butter ones… its a kid’s birthday after all, gotta have some peanut-free options!

Other props and decor, made by various vendors….  (including yours truly, LBP got in on the prop-making action!)

The birthday boy in his adorable bow-tie outfit from Mags & Lou.  He took a nose dive ONE WEEK before his birthday (just learning to walk!) so you can see his boo-boo in some of the photos…  (a few I edited it out, because I couldn’t stand it and a few I left in, so we could always remember it 🙂
